CONTENTS:

Our first ever Special Edition is a tribute to the four Mummy sequels released by Universal Studios in the 1940s! The cover is a joint effort between Kerry Gammill and Joe "Sorko" Schovitz. The MFTV Special Edition is divided into six sections:

The Mummy's Hand (1940)

The Mummy's Tomb (1942)

The Mummy's Ghost (1944)

The Mummy's Curse (1944)

The High Priests of Karnak/Arkam

The Women of Kharis' Eye

The issue is written by Greg Mank and features tons of rare beautifully restored photos, many from the original negatives---some never-before-published! The issue is 64-pages, perfect bound.

Published Summer 2009.

I'd like to thank everyone for their kind comments on our first Special Edition. With this issue coming out so soon after Monsters from the Vault #26 it was a real struggle and a lot of sleep was lost (especially Sorko) but I think the end result was worth it. I'd like to thank Greg Mank for his wonderful text, Buddy Weiss at Photofest for digging up some great shots, and everyone else who contributed photos to the issue. However, the BIGGEST thanks goes to Sorko for coming up with the wonderful design (I just had to follow the template he came up with), his amazing photo restoration (he did them all), his creative one-sheet posters for each chapter, his fabulous cover design (with Kerry Gammill) and interior poster/lobby card montages, and for hanging in there during the extremely tight deadline we had to have the issue done in time for Monster Bash 2009. The last three weeks before the issue went to press he worked almost nonstop on the issue and pulled a lot of all-nighters. He also put some of his paying gigs on hold to make sure we made the deadline. Bottom-line, without Sorko there wouldn't have been a Kharis Special Edition, and I GREATLY (I mean GREATLY) appreciated his efforts!

Look for more Monster from the Vault Special Editions in the future.
