LATEST NEWS (5/13/06):

     Unfortunately, despite my best efforts it looks like the new issue of Monsters from the Vault, won't be ready for press before my May 14 departure on a long business trip for my "real" job. I was already on a tight schedule, since issue #21 was a couple of months late, and I've been doing a lot of travel this spring and have more on the horizon. The issue is 70% complete, but I have to stop working on it to prepare for two family birthday celebrations, plus an early Mother's Day celebration, since I'll be hitting the road tomorrow morning. I return from the first part of my trip on May 25, but then it's off for a little R&R at Wonderfest May 26-29. Then, bright and early on May 30 I'm off again until June 18. I'll get some work done June 19-20, but then it's off to Monster Bash, June 22-26. Hopefully, after that I'll be able to finish the issue on the long Fourth of July weekend and get it to press before another trip to California in early July (at least I hope to visit Bob and Kathy Burns then and see "Bob's Basement" for the first time). Once I return from that trip, the issue should be ready to send out in late July. I'm really bummed about this because Monster Bash is where a large percentage of my income comes from, and without a new issue to premiere there my sales are bound to be down. At least a lot of the attendees still won't have #21, so I'll have some good sales to go along with other back issues, DVDs, and toys. Plus, I always do well with wholesale of back issues to the dealers I see only at the Bash. So once again, work takes precedence over fun, but the new issue should be no more than a month late. I hope to see many of our readers at both Wonderfest (I won't have a table there) and Monster Bash, and as always, thanks for your continued support!
