When I attend conventions one of my favorite things to do is to watch films, and my favorite way to watch them is projected via projector on a large screen. So my plans for our film screenings is to only show films and televison shows via 16mm at the convention. Thanks to a lot of friends with large 16mm collections (many who are willing to project their films at the show), this will be possible. The only time a film or television presentation won't be in 16mm is if it features a convention guest and we were unable to locate a copy on 16mm. In that case it will be projected DVD. To me, film is the only way to truly see a movie, and we're excited that we'll be screening both favorites and rarities at the show. I can't wait to hear that projector hum!
